electric heater with built in controls

Additional Information

Electric heaters are single phase heaters up to 12kW.

Heaters include fan interlocks and all heaters over 3kW include a fan run on timer.

Sensor -  A duct sensor is included in the kit, this plugs into the heater control board directly. The sensor should be fitted between 2 and 4m down stream of the heater, it can also be fitted in the room the heater is supplying (Room sensor box added extra).

Airflow Switch - An airflow switch is supplied with the heater unit, this should be fitted in the supply air so the heater can only run when airflow is proven. The airflow switch connects directly to the control board via a 2 way plug.

Enable Contacts - The enable contacts can be fitted to a remote switch, a time clock or a BMS enable signal.

Indicators - The heater includes indicators for System Live, Fan On, Heater On and System Fault.

Temperature Control - The heater includes a temperature control knob with a 0-40C scale.

*NEW PHANTOM72

THYRISTOR CONTROL VIA BMS DEMAND

The Phantom72 interlocks the fan with the heater with a built in fan run on timer, the demand for heating is from the bms.

Remote Enable

A remote enable can be connected to the controller, this can be a simple switch or a time clock.

Fire Aalrm

There is an option to interlock your fire alarm system to the controller, this will override the fan run on timer.

Volt free fault contacts

The controller monitors heater cutouts and an airflow proving switch, these fault can then be monitored individually or as a common fault output.

LCD Display

The controller clearly show what the status of the system is with Fan and Heater on and off indication and Air fail and Over Heat status, there is also an option for Filter dirty indication.
